Would be good to get some thoughts from the community on MedicCoin.
By sharing the good and bad, I believe that we can help improve our ecosystem and help the project get a further insights.
I think that the medical niche is an important one for Blockchain innovation. With a transparent team that has insights into the medical field they seem well placed to have an impact.
It is community driven which is great and they seem to want to make a difference with the charity focus.
I am more excited by the innovation and tech that they are striving to achieve. Their EMR system for storing medical records is a no-brainer in regards for need. Having medical records secure and accessible to those who require it, is a must. Mediccoin are due to release the full version of their platform shortly. I have not seen the platform (so would be interested to get the thoughts of anyone who has) but in my mind, it will all be about adoption to really make a difference.
With the value of sharing medical information being mass adoption. I personally would love that to be a free, decentralised, community driven project. Interested to see how it plays out... definitely crunch time, to see what use case adoption takes place, with their targeted 10 merchants next month.
I feel the Medic phone is a great concept and can see digital doctors being applied in many instances throughout the world. A crypto payment makes sense. It could also be integrated into multiple EMR systems. ...Will be keeping a close eye on this as it progresses.
They seem well supported with a range of wallets and active social channels, they are listed on Coinmarketcap.com and on a range of average exchanges.
Their masternodes are all active and running well, but GitHub has not had a push for 6 months.
